RECENT EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

• Animation Industry Mission to China, April 25-May 3, 2008.  As marketing expert in UPEX International consulting team, exchanged business ideas with Chinese officials in Beijing, Tongzhou, Lushan, Jiujiang and Changzhou.

• Global Poverty and the Millennium Development Goals.  Led workshops at Ascension Lutheran Church, Thousand Oaks, June & July 2008.

• Business in China Study Tour.  Served as tour leader for E.F. Tours, May 19-31, 2008.  Led student group for business meetings and cultural studies in Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Shenzheng and Hong Kong.

• Subject Editor for Crisis Communication at www.DisasterManagement.info, the online network of the Disaster Management Academy

• Social Enterprise & Corporate Social Responsibility Workshop.  Facilitator and co-organizer.  April 18-20, 2008.  California Lutheran University campus.

• Get-SET 2008: Developing a Social Entrepreneurs Toolbox.  (Co-Organizer).  April 11-12, 2008 at the Lundring Event Center, CLU, Thousand Oaks

• American Association of Colleges and Universities, Conference on General Education in Boston, February 21-23.  Representative from CLU Graduate Programs. 

• Peace Corps Association of Ventura County.  Elected President of the association in November, 2007.
